The American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) fosters and supports 60 independent business alliances (IBAs) in 30 states. These IBAs support, promote and advocate for more than 50,000 independent, locally-owned businesses. The Loan star Foundation contributed to their 2020 Fundraiser.
We are a proud donor to the AMIBA Community Fund which gives grants to Independent Business Alliances across the country, providing them strength and resilience to benefit their local communities and local businesses
The Lone Star Foundation's founder, Vicky Valdez, is a founding partner in the Local Business Institute. We work hand in hand on educational opportunities and community economic development. The Local Business Institute is dedicated to the creation and support of thriving, sustainable local business communities through education, research and community-building programs.

AMIBA, a nonprofit association of local Independent Business Alliances (IBA) works with more than 60 IBAs in 30 states to build the local economy movement by encouraging sustainable local economies through thriving local businesses. This partnership allows us to reach local businesses across the country within a framework of support.
The Lone Star Foundation focuses on helping small, local businesses acquire technology, equipment, tools and resources so that they may advance and grow. Grants range from $500 to $10,000 and are given to individual business
